I wanted to try and make an animated one, not just a picture. Have you heard of PixilArt? It's a website where you can create pixel art and animate it - for free!

Once you go to PixilArt, you can start with an existing drawing or make your own! Just click your mouse around, choose colors and create (or edit) your art pixel-by-pixel! To animate it, just add a frame and change your picture slightly.
I just played around with it for awhile and got comfortable with it. I'm sure you will, too!
I think we should make a video teaching you how to do things in PixilArt!
